Hurricane Helene Update
Longboat Key and Surrounding Areas
The Resort at Longboat Key Club was very fortunate to maintain minimal damage from Hurricane Helene. At this time there are no changes to the schedule of events for our wedding but will update everyone if that changes at any time.
While the resort cleanup efforts are well under way, the surrounding areas sustained significant damage from the storm that will take some time to repair. We reached out to The Resort at Longboat Key Club and other locals to ask for their favorite relief organizations and funds. Please consider providing support to the area if able and let us know if you would like more information on how to get involved in the cleanup effort!
Western North Carolina
For those guests outside of North Carolina who may not be aware, much of the Western counties of North Carolina remain in a state of emergency following Hurricane Helene. There was significant, heartbreaking devastation that left many people stranded and without power, water, and access to other basic necessities.
This area holds a special place in our hearts as much of Casey’s family is from that area and we spent the summer of 2023 in Asheville while Tristan managed events for the Biltmore. Please consider donating to one of the below organizations that are tirelessly working on providing resources to locals in addition to ongoing search and rescue efforts.
